An electronic ticket is an electronic document that confirms an agreement of air transportation between a passenger and an airline. It is a digital entry in the airline's database. A ticket number is assigned to each passenger and usually consists of 13 digits.
Once you've made the payment, we will send you an e-ticket receipt to your email address as confirmation that you purchased your plane ticket.
The ticket contains the following information:
- itinerary;
- departure and arrival times;
- departure and arrival airports;
- airline;
- travel class;
- passenger and payment information.
The e-ticket receipt is not required to check in for a flight. All you need is an ID (passport or birth certificate). However, we strongly recommend that you print out the receipt and have it handy just in case.
When you need to have your e-ticket receipt printed
- To enter some airports or their areas.
- To go through passport control or customs. In this case, the receipt is proof that you have a return ticket, or you are a transit passenger.
- If your flight was delayed or cancelled, the airline will make a note on the receipt.
- To officially confirm the purchase of your ticket and the right to fly. This is necessary if there is a technical failure in the booking and check-in systems at the airport.
PNR number or PNR code
A PNR number or code is a record in the airline's database. The code can be unique or common to several flights or passengers (if they are all in one booking). The number consists of six digits and letters and is indicated on the e-ticket receipt.
A PNR is needed to check-in online or to manage your booking on the airline's website.
